Born from a deep desire to connect, CONSULEGIS began as a casual group of lawyers meeting in Hamburg in 1985. It has since evolved into a vibrant professional network of independent law, accounting and tax firms and general counsels around the globe.
Established in 1990, you can always rely on us to maintain the highest calibre of firms. Our book ‘Always There’ dives into our unique history and long-standing service.
We welcome 95% of members back year after year and over 60% of our members have been part of the CONSULEGIS family for 15 years or more.
With 90+ members in 40+ countries across all continents, our network acts as a global extension to your team, giving you access to the best cross-border advice in an instant.
Each year we facilitate opportunities to connect and share, with 20 practice & sector groups, 2 in-person conferences, and hundreds of online meetings and referrals (and counting!)
CONSULEGIS aims to benefit professionals at every level of your firm, with mentoring and development initiatives like our Next Generation group.
We take steps to contribute towards more equality in the legal and tax industries, actively promoting diversity in leadership and recognising women through our Women in Law group.

The idea of making a book came up in January 2022, when we were trying to find an original idea to celebrate our network and its more than 32 years of existence. There were many memories and photos, and the best way to revive all those moments, experiences, and encounters was a book.
Collaborations between members are the living embodiment of CONSULEGIS’ philosophy to exchange knowledge. Our video stories capture powerful examples of how the network facilitates connections that lead to extraordinary business successes.
Our partnership with Accounting Association INAA widens our professional reach and offers our new members opportunities to learn, collaborate and enhance their services.
With a common aim to foster genuine trust, our dedicated leadership team consists of an active Advisory Board and management team. Fully remote and global, our leaders embrace tech and flexibility to stay connected, reflecting the network as a whole.
